Pensacola, FL is one of my favorite cities in all of Florida. It's so rich in culture and is located right next to the emerald green waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Established in 1559 by Spanish Settlers, downtown Pensacola shows off its history with museums, the arts, its iconic Palafox Street, boutique clothing stores and incredible restaurants, making it the perfect city to get married in.
Pensacola isn't lacking when it comes to wedding venues to choose from. If you want the downtown Pensacola feel, 511 Palafox, Pensacola Country Club, Lily Hall, Oyster Bay Boutique Hotel, Live Oak Plantation, Palafox House, Palafox Wharf, and Supposey Gardens each provide their own little piece of Pensacola flair. Then with a quick trip over to Pensacola Beach, you can find the stunning beachfront venues of Margaritaville Beach Hotel, Portofino Island Resort, or your choice of beach homes.

Pensacola's Country Club is one of my favorite venues in Pensacola and I was thrilled when Liz and Chris hired me to photograph their wedding there. It was the perfect venue for their wedding. If you are looking to host 200-300 people, this venue is the way to go. With a beautifully classic interior space and a lawn that spans its way across the 18th hole to Pensacola Bay, the sunsets that happen are definitely a guest favorite.
When it comes to Downtown Pensacola, it's hard to beat 5Eleven Palafox. Shelby and Alex chose 5Eleven to host their wedding and had a beautiful ceremony on the courtyard with a tented reception on the side lawn. Built in 1896, it has a stunning brick and floor to ceiling window storefront, beautiful exposed brick wall interior and a lush courtyard with beautiful landscaping. It also hosts a gorgeous room upstairs perfect for getting ready before your wedding.
