What do you get when you are a super awesome wedding planner, are getting married, and the friends planning your Bridal Showers and Bridal Luncheon are also super awesome wedding planners? Gorgeous details, beautiful ideas, and a super awesome party!
Sara, owner of Sara Gilliane Weddings and Events got married last month and one of her right hand girls, Leia, asked me to come document it for them. I, of course, said I would LOVE to, not only cause I absolutely adore her, but also because I knew that it would be nothing short of amazing; and boy, was I right. I was way more than I could ever dream up.
Sara had her Bridal shower at The WES – The Wedding and Event Studio, the main hub for Sara Gilliane Weddings and is in the most gorgeous building in downtown Pensacola. The theme of the luncheon was “Let’s Flamingle” and everything was flamingo pink, palms, and citrus. So perfect for a spring florida wedding. The planning and decor was all created by the fabulous Leia and Perryn (both event designers with Sara Gilliane weddings) and the gorgeous cake, adorable gold dusted macaroons, and clever Florida shaped cookies were all made by Heather at Emerald Coast Custom Cakes.

Sara also had a Bridal Luncheon that weekend at The Lee House. She and her Bridal Party met for the most gorgeous Kate Spade inspired brunch I have ever seen. Every detail was to die for. Between the classic black and white stripes, the pops of pink and gold, and the heirloom china and silverware, Sara proved how talented she is. It was all so beautiful. And look at the gorgeous cake and cookies made by Heather and Emerald Coast Custom Cakes again! She never ceases to amaze me.

I also got to be a part of Sara’s Bridal/Lingerie Shower. It was all about the Champagne! Leia blew me away with her talent that night; from the custom lettered champagne glasses to the glittered circles she cut out and hung by hand, it was all so beautiful. We had so much fun that night and even ended the shower with some custom made “mugshots” that set the theme for the party that was about to ensue that night after heading to dinner.

Leia, thank you for inviting me to be a part of Sara’s wedding week. Muah!
